As a Talent Acquisition Specialist at Ziina you will:
- Own the entire recruitment lifecycle for our technical teams that include engineering, product, and design teams. You'll be responsible for everything from initial sourcing and candidate engagement to offer negotiation and closing.
- Develop and execute a strategic hiring plan that aligns with our company goals. You'll proactively build talent pipelines, identify new sourcing channels, and advise hiring managers on market trends and best practices.
- Be a true talent scout, actively sourcing and engaging with top-tier technical talent in the MENA region and globally. You'll go beyond job boards to find the best builders in the industry.
- Act as a brand ambassador, sharing Ziina's story and mission to attract candidates who are passionate about our vision of financial freedom in the Middle East.
- Ensure an exceptional candidate experience at every stage. You'll be the face of Ziina, providing timely communication and building strong relationships with both candidates and internal stakeholders.
- Drive process improvement by analyzing recruiting data to identify bottlenecks and implement solutions. You'll help us build a scalable and efficient talent acquisition function.
- Partner directly with our founders and technical leadership to understand their hiring needs and translate them into a compelling narrative for potential candidates.
To succeed in this role, you likely:
- Have 4+ years of experience as a technical recruiter, ideally with a focus on building teams at a high-growth startup or within the tech industry.
- Possess a strong understanding of core technical roles and technologies. You can speak the language of technical individual's and credibly assess technical skills.
- Are a proactive and creative sourcer, capable of building and nurturing relationships with passive candidates. You don't wait for applications to come in; you go out and find the best people.
- Demonstrate a high degree of empathy and emotional intelligence, with a proven ability to deliver a positive and transparent candidate experience.
- Are results-oriented and data-driven, using metrics to inform your decisions and optimize your workflow.
- Thrive in an agile, fast-paced environment. You're comfortable with ambiguity and excited by the challenge of building from the ground up.
