WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Vestwell is looking for a Systems Administrator to work with our CorpIT and DevOps team to manage and optimize our corporate IT processes as we scale. This role will be responsible for adherence to compliance policies in our hardware setup for employees and new hires, as well as engineering and administering products and controls across network, distributed servers, and other end-points. This role plays a key role working with CorpIt, DevOps, Security and other teams to architect and enhance security of assets.
This role will be based on-site at Vestwell’s offices in Austin, Texas.
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
- Manage and implement optimizations to automate day to day corporate IT tasks
- Develop automated methods for the deployment of infrastructure across a hybrid workforce
- Work with cutting-edge large-scale cloud technologies
- Windows endpoint management within VDI’s
- Manage Meraki Networking infrastructure
REQUIREMENTS

The Necessities
- Demonstrated ability to proactively prioritize, organize, and communicate effectively in a high-growth, fast-paced environment
- Experience working in Windows Server environments
- Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking including subnetting, DHCP, DNS, access lists, static routing
- Experience in administering MacOS environments
- Experience in administering Windows Server environments
- Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking including subnetting, DHCP, DNS, access lists, static routing
The Extras
- Experience in infrastructure deployment, systems administration, support, and maintenance
- Familiarity with one or more scripting languages (e.g. Python, JavaScript, Perl, or Bash); virtualization platforms (e.g. Docker); configuration management tools and automation platforms is a plus (e.g. Salt, Terraform, Jenkins); and Windows/Linux/Unix OS administration

The expected salary range for this position is $90K - $115K. Please note that salary bands are based on NY and other similar metro areas and may differ based on where the role is ultimately hired.
