About the role
You will be the third Frontend Engineer in the Daily Operations squad, the team responsible for the core user journey in Simetrik. Your mission is to turn complex reconciliation workflows into fast, clear, and scalable product experiences. You’ll partner with Product, UX, Backend, QA, and Delivery to ship features such as dashboards, a record search engine, a task center, and optimized reconciliation views that reduce friction for high-volume finance and operations users.

What is the impact and scope of this position?
You will shape the experience of the most used area of Simetrik. The work you ship influences how large enterprises reconcile, investigate, and resolve issues at scale across LATAM and beyond. Your decisions on information architecture, interaction, and performance set the bar for the rest of the product.
What outcomes are expected in the first 3 to 6 months?
- Local environment running.
- Ownership of a slice of the Daily Operations surface, with tests, telemetry, and documentation.
- First iteration of the record search or task center experience shipped behind a feature flag.
- Release of a meaningful enhancement to reconciliation views or dashboards with measurable gains in time-to-insight or error rate.
- Concrete progress on AI-driven assistance improving user speed or clarity.
In this role you will
- Translate product requirements into clear, fast, and scalable interfaces for high-volume operational use.
- Build and evolve dashboards, record search, task management, and reconciliation views.
- Optimize critical paths in the user journey, instrument them, and iterate based on data.
- Partner with UX on information architecture and with Backend on API design and performance.
- Raise the frontend bar through code reviews, testing, documentation, and mentoring.
- Explore and land pragmatic applications of AI in the UI when they improve the workflow.
What are the key responsibilities of this role?
- Deliver end-to-end features in React and TypeScript from design handoff to production.
- Maintain predictable data flow and robust state management (Zustand / Redux).
- Contribute to our Design System evolution (tokens, components, dark/light modes).
- Drive observability (Sentry, PostHog, Datadog) and performance metrics.
- Maintain robust state management and predictable data flows across complex screens.
- Ensure accessibility, responsiveness, and performance for desktop-first SaaS.
- Define and uphold frontend standards for the squad including testing, error handling, and observability.
- Collaborate in discovery, slice work with Product and Delivery, and remove blockers early.
Must Have
- Strong hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Consuming APIs with REST and GraphQL.
- Practical experience with state managers such as Redux or Zustand.
- Track record shipping complex SaaS features used daily by business users.
- Evidence of speed with quality. You move quickly without leaving debt behind.

- Hands-on work with AI-assisted interfaces or integrating LLM-powered flows.
Qualifications
- Two to four years of professional experience as a Frontend Engineer or Software Engineer with strong frontend focus.
- Experience in SaaS B2B products. Fintech exposure is a plus.
- Based in LATAM. Preference for Colombia or Argentina time zones.
- Professional proficiency in Spanish. English reading and writing for documentation and code reviews.
- Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
