Job Description
Job Purpose
The Retail Lead will oversee the day-to-day operations of the retail business in the state, ensuring smooth functioning, optimizing sales, and enhancing the overall customer experience. You will lead and manage a team of RSA’s to ensure smooth acquisition and onboarding of retail partners on our platform.
Job Responsibilities
- Drive and champion sales initiative in the state.
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with retail partners to understand their needs, challenges, and opportunities.
- Lead a high performing team of Retail Success Associates.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key retail accounts, ensuring satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.
- Supervise the onboarding process for new retail partners, ensuring a seamless integration into the platform.
- Implement strategies to enhance retailer support efficiency and satisfaction.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement in the retail management function.
- Lead the layout and visual presentation of merchandise to attract customers and drive sales.
- Set sales targets and develop strategies to achieve them.
- Monitor sales performance and implement initiatives to boost sales.
- Propose and implement enhancements to optimize efficiency and effectiveness
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback for improvement.
- Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers.
Requirements
Special Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 6 years of experience in leading retail management functions an FMCG distribution company or a related role in
- Extensive experience with retail sales driven by field officers
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering excellent customer service.
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for building and maintaining positive relationships.
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
