Role

As a Sales Development Representative at Reorg, you will be instrumental to the growth of our business in the Americas. You’ll drive new business by prospecting and building relationships with investors and credit market professionals. The SDR role will provide you with the foundational experience to be able to hit and surpass your goals. Reorg offers professional development programs and a career path for top-performing SDRs, with an opportunity to advance to a quota-carrying Account Executive role.

This is a hybrid role (3 days in office per week), based in our New York City offices.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify new opportunities based on key profiles in target accounts
  • Collaborate with and support our Account Executives on identifying new business opportunities, territory mapping, booking meetings, and assisting with trial conversions
  • Conduct consistent email, phone and social outreach to connect with new prospects
  • Engage with prospects to articulate Reorg’s value proposition, using discovery and objection handling techniques to speak knowledgeably with investment professionals and build interest in our products
  • Book meetings and log all activities in our CRM, Salesforce
  • Consistently achieve or surpass your monthly KPIs

Requirements:

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills; you’re able to communicate complex concepts articulately and confidently to a sophisticated audience.
  • Emotional intelligence; you are skilled in active listening, understanding prospect needs, and managing conversations with empathy. You have the ability to adapt and pivot in real-time during conversations to build trust and uncover opportunities.
  • Proactive and self-driven; you are able to work independently, taking initiative to solve problems and pursue opportunities. You have a strong sense of ownership and accountability for your performance.
  • Resilience and determination; you are goal-oriented with a relentless drive to succeed. You’re persistent in overcoming challenges and consistently pushes towards meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Interest in Financial Services; you demonstrate a genuine curiosity and enthusiasm for the financial services industry, especially the credit markets.
  • Passion for Sales; you have strong interest in pursuing a long-term career in sales, and are committed to learning the fundamentals of business development, relationship building, and client engagement.
  • Time management and organizational skills: you can prioritize tasks effectively, manage your time efficiently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field; sales/client-facing internships or work experience a plus


At Reorg, we consider a range of factors in connection with compensation decisions, including experience, skills, location, and our business needs and limitations. As a result, compensation may vary within and across similar roles and positions. Please note that the salary range information below is a good faith estimate for this position and actual compensation for any individual may fall outside this range if warranted by the circumstances applicable to that individual. If we identify a role that would be suitable for a broader range of skills and experience such that we would consider hiring at multiple levels then the range listed below may reflect that breadth.

The base salary range estimate for this position is $60,000 - $75,000. This position is eligible for a monthly KPI-based commission bonus.

The actual compensation will be at Reorg’s sole discretion and will be determined by the aforementioned and other relevant factors.
