The Role
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our growing team.

Responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for the day to day management of all infrastructure with a focus on high availability and application performance
  • Ownership of automating virtual infrastructure deployment and configuration on server & serverless
  • Brief senior leadership and end-users about the benefits of the solution and the technology choices made
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to stakeholders of varying expertise levels
  • Build, release, and configuration management
  • Design DR strategies and assist with BCP planning
  • System troubleshooting and problem-solving across platform and application domains
  • Ensuring critical system security through the use of best-in-class cloud security solutions
  • Work independently to complete tasks, report status, identify blockers, and proactively resolve issues
  • Develop reporting toolsets and reports providing meaningful data to relevant interested parties, management & senior DevOps engineers

Requirements

  • Expert knowledge of AWS cloud management concepts and services (EC2, S3, RDS, A/ELB, EBS, VPC, Route53)
  • Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, resolve & document RCA of highly complex environments
  • Expert level understanding of Linux, containerization and serverless (ECS, Kubernetes)
  • Thorough knowledge of DB configuration, concepts, maintenance, and troubleshooting
  • Security design theory knowledge as well as experience in designing, implementing, monitoring IaaS orchestration & configuration management tools (Terraform, Ansible, Chef or SaltStack)
  • Experience automating the deployment of multiple frameworks to (PHP, Laravel, NodeJS, Java, Python)
  • Expert understanding of containerization concepts, orchestration CI/CD workflows
  • Ability to implement a full CI/CD pipeline using automation
  • Technical writing and documentation of architectural designs, application stacks, networks & security, processes
  • Must be available for On-Call work
At Reorg, we consider a range of factors in connection with compensation decisions, including experience, skills, location, and our business needs and limitations. As a result, compensation may vary within and across similar roles and positions. Please note that the salary range information below is a good faith estimate for this position and actual compensation for any individual may fall outside this range if warranted by the circumstances applicable to that individual. If we identify a role that would be suitable for a broader range of skills and experience such that we would consider hiring at multiple levels then the range listed below may reflect that breadth.
The salary range estimate for this position is $135,000 - $150,000.
The actual compensation will be at Reorg’s sole discretion and will be determined by the aforementioned and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for an annual year-end performance bonus.
