Altus Group is currently accepting applications for a client-side Assistant Project Manager to join our Project Management team in Sydney, Australia.
Reporting to a Director / Associate Director, the Assistant Project Manager will assist in providing a variety of professional project management and contract administration services to new and existing clients. Assisting and supporting with the full project delivery life cycle ($1m - $50m across varying sectors) there is plenty of scope to forge a career pathway within our global company. As an Assistant Project Manager, you have excellent communication skills and a strong interest in the property and construction industry.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist in the management, coordination and delivery of projects to meet Client needs,
Assist in the coordination of specialist consultant commissions and fees in consultation with Clients;
Assist in the preparation of monthly Project Reports, on program, cost, risk and quality;
Provide assistance with contract administration tasks on a variety of projects;
Stakeholder liaison
Assist in developing, documenting and implementing Project Plans;
Key Qualifications:
Working towards or currently hold an accreditation in Project Management;
Self-motivated with a high degree of integrity, honesty and ethics;
Excellent communication skills – verbal, written and presentation;
Ability to work in a team and independently.
Must be proficient in PC applications including Microsoft Word, Excel and Email
Preferable to have 1-2 years experience within a contractor or consultancy
