Our Europe marketing team is on a mission to drive significant brand awareness and generate a robust pipeline, while also providing essential enablement support for our Go-To-Market (GTM) teams. We are a lean but mighty team and we're actively looking to expand with a Product Marketing Manager and a Growth Marketer. We are dedicated to ensuring our sales teams have the resources they need to succeed and that our brand resonates strongly across Europe. We foster a collaborative and high-impact environment, working closely with our global counterparts and regional sales teams.
As a Product Marketing Manager for Europe, you will be instrumental in shaping how Plaid's products are perceived and adopted across the region. You will own the creation and refinement of our core value propositions and messaging for the European market, ensuring they resonate with our target audiences and empower our sales teams. You will be responsible for developing and optimising critical sales enablement materials, from compelling pitch decks to concise cheat sheets, that directly equip our GTM teams for success. You will also lead the charge on Go-To-Market strategy and execution for new product launches specific to Europe, working cross-functionally to drive impact and adoption. You will play a pivotal role in accelerating Plaid's growth and ensuring our continued high win rate in this strategic market.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and refine Europe-specific value propositions and messaging that clearly articulate the benefits and differentiation of Plaid's products.
- Create and optimise a comprehensive suite of sales enablement materials, including but not limited to, pitch decks, sales scripts, battlecards, cheat sheets, customer success stories, and one-pagers, ensuring our GTM teams are well-equipped at every stage of the sales cycle.
- Own the end-to-end Go-To-Market strategy and execution for new product and feature launches in Europe, coordinating across product, sales, and global marketing teams to drive successful adoption and awareness.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities, understand customer needs, and refine our product positioning and messaging within the European FinTech landscape.
- Partner closely with the European sales team to understand their needs, gather feedback on existing materials, and identify new enablement opportunities.
- Collaborate with the global product marketing team to ensure consistency in messaging and brand while championing the unique needs of the European market.
- Track and analyse the effectiveness of marketing programs and sales enablement initiatives, using data to inform future strategies and optimisations.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on Plaid's products for the European market, supporting internal teams and external communications as needed.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive experience in product marketing, with a strong preference for experience within B2B SaaS, FinTech, or a technically complex industry.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and executing impactful sales enablement strategies and creating high-quality sales content (e.g., pitch decks, battlecards, one-pagers).
- Proven track record of successfully owning and leading Go-To-Market strategies and execution for product launches.
- Experience in developing localised messaging and value propositions for diverse geographic markets, ideally within Europe.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and compelling narratives for various audiences.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive decisions and measure the impact of marketing initiatives.
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with sales, product, and other marketing teams.
