Transactions Platform empowers Plaid and its customers to unlock the full potential of financial transactions. We are stewards of Plaid’s largest and richest dataset. Transactions, Enrich, Signal, Assets and Bank Income all depend on interfaces we build, the uptime of our services and the quality of data we aggregate. We’re responsible for:
-Owning the onboarding, insights generation pipeline and persistence of financial transactions after they’re extracted from banks.
-Providing common data models, abstractions and interfaces to products that depend on transactions.
-Encapsulating transactions data ingestion, refresh, enrichment, storage and access control in a reliable, low-latency, cost-effective interface.
You will be responsible for owning services written in Node, Python and Golang, so if you’re a polyglot (or want to be one), this is the place for you! You will also build expertise working with data stores and understand how insights generation works (our services host different ML models).
Responsibilities
- As a member of our team, you’ll collaborate with product stakeholders (PMs, engineers) to determine the highest platform needs, and work to implement them.
- You’ll work on a range of problems spanning product to platform: making our systems more reliable and cost effective.
- You’ll have the opportunity to pick up multiple languages and technologies and your work will impact millions of customers by bringing order to the chaotic world of financial data.
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience working on backend systems/teams.
- Working and operating complex distributed systems.
- Collaborate with different stakeholders and customers to drive cross-functional projects.
