Your Impact on our Mission :

We are looking for a Sr. Back-end engineer to join our engineering team! As a SE at Piana, you’ll balance individual contribution with mentorship. You’ll take ideas from inception to reality by rapidly building prototypes, iterating and releasing them. You’ll build scalable products that make the banking experience for customers more efficient.

The position :

• Building products designed to scale quickly and help customers to optimize their experience
• Shipping efficient and scalable code in a fast pace environment
• Collaborating with our agile team of dedicated and brilliant engineers, product owners, and designers to develop product improvements
• Making a meaningful impact as you own and release features in our CI environment that will directly impact customers
• Mentoring your peers, with the notion that helping others means learning and growing yourself

Requirements :

• You have a systematic problem-solving approach with effective communication skills
• Passionate about building fully scalable platforms with the latest technologies
• A product-focused engineer who loves working in a collaborative and supportive environment
• Motivated by building products fintech related
• Excited to use technology to enhance the consumer experience
• Excited to lead projects and be a mentor for other engineers
• Appreciate productivity and care deeply about helping peers collaborate more efficiently
• Have an full understanding of how everything fits together from back-end to front-end and love designing reliable and extensible systems
• 7+ years of professional backend-end development experience
• Experience in building SaaS products or developing FinTech solutions
• Strong CS fundamentals, passion for development, writing tests, and working with git
• You have demonstrated success in building complex system with simple, elegant, and maintainable solutions
