We are looking for a QA tester to take ownership and responsibility of the engineering QA function which includes conducting manual QA reviews, onboarding new tools to improve efficiency, and serving as the release manager. This role will be hands-on, you will work cross-functionally with our Product Managers as well as our Software Engineers to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality before they are released to the market.
You will write detailed test plans from feature requirements, apply best software development practices, and develop good quality test cases. Candidates should have a passion for learning new skills, and applying them into the work, with good problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Create, maintain, and execute test cases for software products
Identify and report defects in software products
Collaborate with development and product teams to understand software requirements and designs
Design and develop automated tests for software products
Review and provide feedback on software design specifications and documentation
Ensure that software products comply with international quality standards and regulations
Perform manual and automated testing of software products
Provide clear and concise reports on software quality to stakeholders
Key Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in software quality assurance
Experience with testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks
Ability to write clear and concise test cases and defect reports
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish
Excellent documentation skills
Experience with agile development methodologies
Familiarity with software development lifecycle and release processes
Nice to have:
Previous experience in a SaaS company
Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar
Experience working in a B2B2C environments
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Experience with performance testing and load testing
