This role is employed directly by Basepoint and is listed here as part of our partnership.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary relationship manager between BasePoint and Ocrolus, ensuring alignment on partnership goals and priorities.
  • Manage cross-organizational technology development initiatives, ensuring timely and effective delivery of joint platform capabilities.
  • Monitor the onboarding process for small business lending companies onto the jointly developed platform, working closely with business development, transaction management, compliance, and technology teams.
  • Own revenue generation targets and asset deployment scaling goals derived from the partnership, ensuring commercial objectives are met or exceeded.
  • Develop and report on partnership KPIs, including platform adoption metrics, revenue performance, and asset deployment efficiency.
  • Facilitate go-to-market alignment between Basepoint and Ocrolus, including management of pipeline and how the companies can cooperate to bring new products to market.
  • Act as a key point of escalation and problem resolution, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the partnership.
  • Identify new opportunities to enhance the partnership value proposition, driving product innovation and market expansion.

Qualifications:

  • 7–10 years of experience in strategic partnerships and/or business development with background in specialty finance, asset management, data analytics, or fintech sectors.
  • Proven experience managing complex B2B partnerships or internal projects, preferably involving data and analytics, financial services, and technology integrations.
  • Strong understanding of small business lending ecosystems, specialty finance products, and financial data analytics.
  • Experience leading revenue-generating initiatives and accountability for financial outcomes.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities across organizations and stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; capable of building trust and consensus across diverse teams and executive stakeholders.
