About The Role:

This is a summer internship position running from June 15th to September 15th.

You will join a team of eight engineers focused on building high-performance, scalable microservices that detect and mitigate online threats, with a strong emphasis on anti-scam and anti-phishing solutions.

Our services are primarily deployed in Kubernetes and written in Rust and Python, processing thousands of requests per second. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience working on real-world cybersecurity challenges and contribute to real production systems.

During the internship, you will:

  • Collaborate with experienced engineers on the design and development of microservices

  • Contribute to feature development, testing, deployment, and monitoring

  • Work with modern technologies including Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, and databases

  • Use tools such as Git, Unix, and scripting environments in your daily work

  • Explore performance optimizations and new technologies with guidance from your team

About you:

  • You have a solid foundation in programming (e.g. Rust, Python, C++, Java or similar)

  • You are familiar with basic concepts of Kubernetes and containerized environments

  • You understand fundamentals of databases (SQL and/or NoSQL)

  • You have experience working with Git, Unix, and command-line tools

  • You are eager to learn, proactive, and able to adapt quickly to new challenges

Nice to have:

  • Advanced knowledge of Rust or Python

  • Experience with cloud platforms and Kubernetes

  • Interest in high-performance or distributed systems

What’s next:

The interview process consists of one stage. You’ll meet the hiring manager, Honza, in our Prague office.
