About The Role:
This is a summer internship position running from June 15th to September 15th.
You will join a team of eight engineers focused on building high-performance, scalable microservices that detect and mitigate online threats, with a strong emphasis on anti-scam and anti-phishing solutions.
Our services are primarily deployed in Kubernetes and written in Rust and Python, processing thousands of requests per second. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience working on real-world cybersecurity challenges and contribute to real production systems.
During the internship, you will:
Collaborate with experienced engineers on the design and development of microservices
Contribute to feature development, testing, deployment, and monitoring
Work with modern technologies including Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, and databases
Use tools such as Git, Unix, and scripting environments in your daily work
Explore performance optimizations and new technologies with guidance from your team
About you:
You have a solid foundation in programming (e.g. Rust, Python, C++, Java or similar)
You are familiar with basic concepts of Kubernetes and containerized environments
You understand fundamentals of databases (SQL and/or NoSQL)
You have experience working with Git, Unix, and command-line tools
You are eager to learn, proactive, and able to adapt quickly to new challenges
Nice to have:
Advanced knowledge of Rust or Python
Experience with cloud platforms and Kubernetes
Interest in high-performance or distributed systems
