About Gen & the Freemium Growth Team
Gen powers digital freedom for hundreds of millions of people worldwide through brands like Avast, AVG, CCleaner, Norton, LifeLock and MoneyLion. Our freemium products (Avast, AVG, Avira, CCleaner) bring users in for free, then convert the right customers to paid subscriptions.
You’ll join the Freemium Growth team within CSM in Prague. The team focuses on how we grow and monetise our freemium user base – from activation and upsell to cross-sell and paid conversion – working closely with product, marketing, data and operations.
AI is at the centre of how we want to work going forward.
About the Role
We’re looking for a technically curious, hands-on AI Operations Intern who wants to go beyond theory and apply AI in real business environments at scale. This role is ideal for a student who has already experimented with AI tools or agents and is eager to turn those skills into real impact.
You’ll work directly with our Freemium and CSM teams in Prague, helping us automate workflows, accelerate experimentation and unlock new ways of working across multiple teams.
What You’ll Work On
Design and implement AI-powered workflows to automate repetitive operational tasks.
Build and experiment with AI agents and tools to improve productivity across teams.
Support scalable experimentation (content, operations, growth initiatives).
Collaborate with stakeholders across product, marketing and operations.
Identify opportunities where AI can reduce manual work and increase speed.
Help shape how AI is used in a fast-growing freemium business environment.
What We’re Looking For
Student in a technical or analytical field (e.g. Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Economics or similar).
Hands-on experience with AI tools, LLMs or AI agents (e.g. OpenAI, Claude, LangChain, automation tools, etc.).
Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to turn ideas into working solutions.
Interest in automation, workflows and scaling systems.
Clear communicator who can explain ideas simply and work well with engineers, product, marketing and CSM colleagues.
Proactive attitude – you don’t wait for detailed instructions; you explore, test and build.
Nice to Have
Experience with scripting (Python, JavaScript) or no-code/low-code automation tools.
Familiarity with APIs, data workflows or prompt engineering.
Previous project(s) where you built or used AI in a practical way (uni, hackathon, side projects, freelance, etc.).
What You’ll Gain
Real-world experience applying AI in a high-impact business environment.
Opportunity to build systems that are actually used at scale by the freemium growth team.
Exposure to cross-functional collaboration in a global tech company.
Mentorship and freedom to experiment with cutting-edge tools.
A chance to help shape how AI is embedded into our freemium growth strategy and how we scale the Avast/AVG/CCleaner business.
