  • Apply foundational knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S) to recognize anomalies and potential threats

  • Support detection improvement efforts by suggesting tuning adjustments and helping reduce false positives

  • Document investigation steps, detection logic updates, and operational workflows accurately

  • Stay informed about emerging threats and trends relevant to SOC operations

About You

  • Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S)

  • Familiarity with common cybersecurity threats (e.g., phishing, malware, brute force, web-based attacks)

  • Comfortable working with logs, alerts, and structured security data

  • Exposure to enterprise security platforms such as SIEM, EDR, WAF, DLP, email security, or cloud monitoring tools is an advantage

  • Exposure to automation tools, or basic scripting is considered a plus

  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and willingness to learn

  • Good communication skills in English (written and verbal)
