We use a hybrid model (3 days in the office) to enable creative collaboration, fast decisions, and strong relationships, while still giving you flexibility for focused work.

We’re looking for a hands‑on Manager, Program Management – Cyber Safety to:

  • Lead a small PgM team, and

  • Personally own critical cross‑functional programs across Norton, Avast, and other Gen products.

You’ll sit at the intersection of Product, Engineering, Security, Data/ML, and GTM, turning our cyber safety strategy into coordinated, measurable outcomes. This is a player‑coach role.

Near‑term focus:

  • Take ownership of 1–2 high‑impact cyber safety programs end‑to‑end.

  • Bring structure, clear metrics, and predictable delivery to complex initiatives.

  • Set expectations for what “great program management” looks like at Gen.

Longer‑term:

Build a trusted, outcome‑focused PgM function.

  • Help shape how we plan and govern the cyber safety portfolio (OKRs, quarterly planning, reviews).

  • Embed responsible security, privacy, and AI risk into how we run programs.

What You’ll Do

Lead critical programs (hands‑on)

Own 1–2 multi‑team programs from discovery through build, launch, and optimization.

  • Turn goals and OKRs into clear plans with scope, milestones, and success metrics.

  • Coordinate delivery, manage risks and dependencies, and keep teams focused.

  • Run launch readiness (messaging, training, support, incident plans).

  • Lead post‑launch reviews and turn learnings into follow‑up improvements.

Lead and develop Program Managers

  • Manage and coach PgMs working across domains (e.g. Core Security, Privacy, VPN, Identity, E‑Commerce, AI/Emerging Tech).

  • Set standards for PgM craft, communication, and stakeholder management.

  • Assign PgMs to the highest‑value work and evolve PgM tools, templates, and rituals.

  • Foster a calm, outcome‑driven culture: early risk surfacing, strong collaboration, bias to action.

Shape how Gen runs cyber safety initiatives

  • Partner with Product Strategy & Ops on planning and governance (OKRs, quarterly planning, portfolio reviews).

  • Represent PgM in cross‑functional forums; advocate for clarity and realistic commitments.

  • Help ensure security, privacy, and AI risk are built into program design.

What You’ll Need

  • 6+ years in Program Management / Technical Program Management / Product Delivery, incl. 2+ years managing or leading PgMs or PMs.

  • Proven track record leading complex, cross‑functional software/SaaS programs end‑to‑end.

  • Experience in a safety‑critical domain (security, privacy, identity, fraud, or similar), ideally consumer / prosumer.

  • Exposure to AI/ML‑powered products and their safety, risk, and trust implications.

  • Strong strategic thinking: connects work to customer pain, threat/market signals, and business outcomes.

  • Demonstrated people leadership: hiring, coaching, performance management, building high‑trust teams.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management; able to influence senior leaders across Product, Engineering, Security, Brand, and GTM.

  • High ownership and bias to action; comfortable in operational detail while maintaining a portfolio view.

  • Confident using data and metrics to define success and drive trade‑offs.

  • Comfortable working with distributed teams and multiple brands.

What You Can Expect From Us

  • Unlimited PTO and flexible working hours

  • Annual bonus scheme

  • The opportunity to join a global S&P 500 tech company

  • Work with leaders in Digital Security

  • Cafeteria points via Benefit Plus (meals, pension, travel, free time, Multisport, etc.)

  • Tuition reimbursement for job‑related courses

  • Personal Learning & Development plan

  • Sustainable home improvement bonus

  • Mac/Windows laptop and mobile phone

Why This Role Matters

You will lead some of Gen’s most important cyber safety programs across Norton, Avast, and new offerings, and you’ll build the team that turns strategy into real improvements in customer safety, privacy, and trust.

If you’re passionate about cyber safety, love driving complex cross‑functional initiatives, and enjoy developing others while staying hands‑on, we’d love to talk.
