About the Role
We are seeking a detail‑oriented and skilled Tax Analyst to join our Global Tax Support team. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting global tax compliance, reporting, and audit activities across regions. You will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams and must have a strong understanding of accounting and tax principles. Your work will help ensure accurate, timely, and compliant tax processes for our global entities.
Key Responsibilities
Data Extraction & Reporting
- Retrieve financial data from Oracle and other accounting systems for various tax compliance activities, including Form 26Q, 27Q, advance tax payments, and schedules required for CIT return preparation.
- Extract, prepare, and modify tax reports such as tax payable and tax receivable reports to support global tax teams across EMEA, APJ, and the US.
- Systematically validate and store extracted data in designated locations to ensure accuracy, completeness, and availability for downstream tax processes.
Tax Compliance & Reconciliation
- Perform detailed tax reconciliations to prevent tax leakage and ensure accurate tax accounting.
- Conduct invoice verification and validation for precise monthly and annual tax reporting.
- Prepare required schedules in prescribed formats—including fixed asset schedules and shareholders’ equity tables—as requested by global tax teams.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Accounts Payable, Treasury, Legal, Accounting, Payroll, and IT to understand data dependencies and support direct and indirect tax compliance requirements.
- Assist in gathering data and preparing structured schedules for global tax audits across multiple jurisdictions.
Accounting & Month‑End Activities
- Prepare and post all tax‑related journal entries (JEs), ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Support year‑end tax provision adjustments by preparing required entries.
- Complete quarterly reconciliations of tax‑related general ledger (GL) accounts.
About You:
Education & Experience
- CA Inter / ICWA Inter with 2–3 years of experience, or
- B.Com / M.Com with 4–5 years of relevant experience.
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles.
- Experience in GST, corporate tax, or global tax processes preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel (formulas, functions, data handling).
- Working knowledge of Oracle or similar ERP platforms is preferred.
