About the Role:

The Endpoint Engineer would be responsible for overseeing and managing the deployment, configuration, security, and support of all Endpoint devices (Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, Android) within the organization. This position is responsible for overseeing the Endpoint infrastructure, coordinating software deployments, and executing patch management protocols to uphold security and regulatory compliance. The role will require collaboration with IT, Security, and cross-functional teams to deliver dependable and standardized Endpoint solutions across all enterprise devices.

Key Responsibilities Endpoint Management:

  • Manage and support Endpoint devices, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and tablets via tools like Jamf, Intune, Kandji, Jumpcloud, Jump Desktop.
  • Endpoint provisioning, deployment, and de-provisioning processes to maintain a consistent and secure device lifecycle.
  • Develop, test, and deploy PowerShell scripts and automation solutions for administrative tasks, system configurations, and troubleshooting.
  • Plan and perform Endpoint migrations from one MDM solution to another.
  • Evaluate hardware standards for managed endpoints.
  • Manage enterprise PKI lifecycles: SCEP certificate issuance, renewal, and revocation.
  • Automation of repetitive tasks to improve efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and implement improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.

Software Deployment and Patch Management:

  • Develop, manage, and monitor automated software deployment and patching schedules via tools like Jamf, Intune, Kandji, JumpCloud.
  • Implement, test, and troubleshoot patches, ensuring all devices comply with security standards.

Support and Troubleshooting:

  • Develop, Document and Maintain configuration standards and ensure compliance across all managed devices.
  • Act as an escalation point and provide technical expertise for elevated support requests related to Endpoint configuration and software deployment issues.
  • Collaborate effectively with other IT support teams like service desk, network, security to diagnose and resolve complex Endpoint issues and provide guidance on best practices.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science.
  • 5+ years of hands-on, in-depth experience in Endpoint management, software deployment, and patch management. Including expertise in scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) to automate deployment and patching processes
  • Extensive experience in administering MDM tools like Jamf, Intune, JumpCloud, Kandji etc.,
  • Hands-on experience in managing Linux Endpoints
  • Good Communication and Collaboration skills, ability to work as a team player and handle multiple tasks in dynamic environment.
  • Certifications in Jamf, Intune etc., would be highly preferred.
