About the Role

This role will deliver analytics that assist in driving the business. This role will also support emerging strategic initiatives. The successful candidate will turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions.

We are seeking a talented and analytical Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in data analysis and a keen eye for identifying trends and patterns. This role will be instrumental in supporting our business objectives through data-driven insights.

This role is onsite 4 days a week out of our New York City office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports to provide insights to various business lines that empower data-driven decision making.
  • Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide actionable insights.
  • Build scalable methodology and tools to accelerate development of our data and analytics practice
  • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
  • Support the team in executing and tracking business objectives through data analysis
  • Utilize SQL to extract, clean, and transform data for analysis.
  • Proficiency in Python (specifically Pandas) is a plus but not required.
  • Consult with leaders across the business to develop analytic roadmaps with particular emphasis on insights that accelerate growth across all aspects of the business

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Minium 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, in banking or fintech industry a plus
  • Experience preferred: FinTech, Banking, Consumer finance, and/or startup environment
  • A strong problem solver with attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability in managing multiple projects and stakeholders
  • Ability to explain technical concepts into actionable insights for non-technical partners
  • High business acumen with a knack for using data to “fuel the business equation”
  • Strong SQL skills, proficiency in Python a plus
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

The annual base salary for the Investing Operations Associate is expected to be between $80,000 to $110,000. Base salary is one component of MoneyLion's total compensation package, which includes 401(k) match, multiple health insurance options, disability coverage, life insurance, and unlimited paid time off for salaried positions. Actual salaries will vary based on a candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and competencies related to the role.
