About the Role

As a Senior IT Manager, you will be responsible to provide critical support and management to MoneyLion’s core IT and third party SaaS platforms, as well as provide front line user support to all other teams in our New York City headquarters as well as remotely. MoneyLion is a rapidly growing company with a global workforce in the US and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The objective of the role is to own the IT infrastructure and architecture, prepare for scale, and bring in automation to improve IT systems & responsiveness, and work to improve security and user experience.

This role requires that you be on-site at least 4 days per week in our New York City office.

Key Responsibilities

● Own and manage MDM setup and solutions (JAMF and Kandji, Microsoft Intune & Azure Active Directory).
● Management and procurement of IT assets including laptops & supporting hardware
● Own and manage vendor relationships for SaaS vendors.
● Manage and mentor a team of junior-mid level IT SysAdmins.
● Serve as a level 2 / level 3 support resource when needed for the global team
● IT project management for org-wide projects, including creating realistic timelines, stakeholder management, and resource management
● Management of key third-party SaaS systems such as Slack, Jira, Google Workspace, Okta, GitHub, etc.
● Management of IAM for core applications such as AWS, GitHub, Atlassian, etc via SSO.
● Configuration and administration of SSO applications across our fleet of Saas systems.
● Management of on-site network and WiFi infrastructure.
● Management/troubleshooting of on-site A/V and conferencing hardware.
● Work with the security team to maintain overall security posture within IT and third-party SaaS systems.
● Automating typical day to day tasks where possible to streamline organizational efficiency.

About You

  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in IT, with a significant portion in leadership or management roles.
  • Proven experience in managing IT projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing projects.
  • Experience in managing a global team with members across different timezones and cultures.
  • A broad understanding of software development, network architecture, data management, and cybersecurity.
  • Experience with administering/managing AWS, GitHub.
  • Familiar with DevOps practices such as IaC using Terraform, ArgoCD, etc.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • ITIL certification and ITSM experience is beneficial to the role.
  • Networking certification would be useful for the role.
  • Strong leadership skills to guide IT teams and projects towards successful completion.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to develop strategic IT plans that align with the organization’s goals.
  • Experience in managing IT budgets, including capital expenditure and operational spending.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to tackle complex IT challenges.
  • Experience in negotiating with and managing vendors, including software providers and hardware suppliers.
  • Adaptable and open to learning new technologies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various teams within the organization.
  • Having a strong ethical compass and sense of judgment, given the increasing concerns around data privacy and security.
  • Understanding of SOC2, SOX, and any other compliance regulation requirements that are applicable to a financial organization.
  • Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate IT risks.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement through innovation and staying updated with emerging tech trends.

The annual base salary for the Sr. IT Manager is expected to be between $150,000 to $175,000. Base salary is one component of MoneyLion's total compensation package, which includes, 401(k) match, multiple health insurance options, disability coverage, life insurance, and unlimited paid time off for salaried positions. Actual salaries will vary based on a candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and competencies related to the role.
