See open jobs at MoneyLion.See open jobs similar to "Staff Software Engineer (React, TypeScript)" FinTech Collective.Engine by MoneyLion (https://engine.tech) is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior to Staff level Front-End Engineer to join our team and help own front-end development within the Enterprise Consumer Experience department. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of React and TypeScript, and will be able to work independently and as part of a team to develop and implement user interface components. They will also have experience with all stages of the software development life cycle, from design and implementation to testing and deployment.
Responsibilities:
- Own and champion front-end development within our department
- Develop and implement user interface components using React and TypeScript
- Work with designers and UX engineers to translate designs into high-quality code
- Write unit and end to end integration tests to ensure code quality
- Collaborate with back-end engineers to build and deploy web applications
- Troubleshoot and debug front-end issues
- Work with other engineers to improve the overall quality of our software
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience with React
- Strong understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
- Experience with other front-end frameworks such as Angular or Vue
- Experience with unit testing and integration testing
- Experience with Git and other version control systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience coaching and mentoring less experienced engineers
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Bonus Qualifications:
- NextJS 13
- 3rd party UI libraries like MUI or other
- Modern state management
- GraphQL or other API frameworks
- Performance optimization for core web vitals
- DataDog
- Cypress or other similar end-to-end testing systems
- A love for functional programming, immutability, and a distaste for side-effects
