Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Partnership Manager to drive Minka’s international expansion strategy. This role requires an experienced professional with a deep understanding of sales, business development, and market analysis, who can identify ideal customer profiles (ICPs) across key sectors and execute strategic partnerships to open operations in 5 countries in LATAM, 5 in Africa, and 1 in Europe. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building partnerships, entering new markets, and driving revenue growth in the financial or fintech sector.

This role requires an experienced professional with a deep understanding of sales, business development, and market analysis, who can identify ideal customer profiles (ICPs) across key sectors and execute strategic partnerships to open operations in 5 countries in LATAM, 5 in Africa, and 1 in Europe. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building partnerships, entering new markets, and driving revenue growth in the financial or fintech sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Analysis and Strategy:
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify opportunities, challenges, and regulatory requirements in target regions.
- Analyze customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscapes to develop an entry strategy for each country.
- Identify and define the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) for each region and segment.
- Business Development and Partnership Execution:
- Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders identified as Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs), including banks, clearing houses, fintechs, and regulatory bodies, often in collaboration with partners.
- Leverage partnerships to discover and refine ICPs in target regions and sectors.
- Develop tailored proposals and value propositions for strategic partners and their networks.
- Negotiate and close partnership agreements, ensuring alignment with Minka’s business objectives and revenue targets.
- Sales Enablement and Execution:
- Lead go-to-market activities in each region, ensuring alignment with revenue and product teams.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans for new markets, focusing on ICP conversion and revenue generation.
- Drive revenue growth by onboarding and managing strategic partners.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with Minka’s revenue, product, and marketing teams to ensure a smooth market entry.
- Partner with the customer engineering team to design scalable solutions for new markets.
- KPIs and Reporting:
- Develop and track KPIs related to market entry, partner engagement, and revenue growth.
- Provide regular updates to leadership on progress, challenges, and recommendations.
- Experience: 7+ years in sales, partnership management, or business development in fintech, financial services, or payments. Proven experience entering new markets and scaling operations.
- Skills: Strong analytical abilities, with experience conducting market research and identifying business opportunities.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to design and execute complex strategies in a fast-paced environment.
- Sales Expertise: Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed revenue targets through strategic partnerships.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Global Experience: Prior experience working in LATAM, Africa, and Europe is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with real-time payments, integration hubs, and financial infrastructure
- Fluency in Spanish and English is required; additional proficiency in Portuguese is a plus.
- Strong understanding of regulatory environments in LATAM, Africa, and Europe.
