What You’ll Be Doing

As a Product Manager at Mattilda, you will:

• Define Hard Technical Product Strategy: Develop a clear and actionable product roadmap that addresses complex technical challenges while aligning with business objectives.
• Innovate with AI: Spearhead innovation with AI to generate step change impact for our customers
• Solve Technical Problems: Collaborate with engineering teams to address and resolve hard technical problems, ensuring product feasibility and scalability.
• Data-Driven Insights: Utilize data analysis to inform product decisions, track performance metrics, and identify opportunities for optimization and growth.
• User-Centric Development: Conduct thorough user research and gather feedback to ensure that product features effectively meet user needs and enhance their experience.
• Agile Project Management: Lead the agile development process, prioritizing the product backlog, managing sprints, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality features.
• Stakeholder Communication: Communicate product updates, technical challenges, and strategic direction to internal stakeholders and external partners, fostering transparency and collaboration.
• Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to drive product innovation and differentiation.

Who You Are

We’re looking for someone who:

• Experienced Product Manager: 4+ years of product management experience, with a proven track record in fintech or edtech, particularly in payments and financial services.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of software development processes, APIs, and payment technologies, with the ability to engage deeply with engineering teams.
• Experience with AI: You are a fast learner and problem solver with experience in designing AI solutions and leveraging AI tooling to create great product
• Analytical Thinker: Excellent data analysis skills, capable of interpreting complex datasets and translating insights into actionable product strategies.
• Detail-Oriented: Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that all aspects of product development meet high-quality standards and user expectations.
• Results-Driven: A strong focus on achieving measurable outcomes, with a history of delivering successful products that meet business goals.
• Excellent Communicator: Bilingual in English and Spanish, with outstanding verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex concepts clearly.
• User-Centric Mindset: Passionate about understanding user needs and delivering exceptional user experiences through innovative solutions.
• Agile Advocate: Experienced in agile methodologies, with a focus on continuous improvement and iterative development.
