Position Overview:
As a Graphics Designer/Video Editor at Matta, you will possess a strong portfolio showcasing exceptional skills in both graphic design and video editing. In this role, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing designs for a range of marketing materials and producing professional-quality videos to support our brand's storytelling and engagement efforts.
Key responsibilities:
Graphic Design:
- Creating visually appealing designs for various marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, social media graphics, and presentations.
- Developing and maintaining brand consistency across all visual assets.
- Collaborating with marketing and sales teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality designs.
Video Editing:
- Editing and producing professional-quality videos, such as product demos, corporate videos, and social media content.
- Selecting appropriate footage, music, and sound effects to enhance storytelling and engagement.
- Ensuring videos meet technical specifications and deadlines.
In-House Requirements:
The candidate should be based in-house to facilitate effective collaboration and ensure timely project delivery.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in graphic design and video editing.
- Proven track record of creating high-quality designs and videos for various marketing channels.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design software. Strong understanding of colour theory, typography, and layout.
- Expertise in video editing software (e.g., Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) with a keen eye for detail and ability to create engaging visual narratives.
- Basic animation skills (e.g., After Effects) are a plus.
- Experience with creating motion graphics and animations for videos and presentations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and learn new software or techniques.
Additional Requirements:
- Portfolio showcasing previous work in graphic design and video editing.
- Strong understanding of branding and visual identity.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
