Our aim is to bridge the gap between the sellers of chemicals, raw materials etc and the manufacturers who are the users of these commodities. The objective is to eliminate what ever obstacle to trade that these parties might encounter along the way, could be funding, logistics, access to the chemicals where, when and in what quantity required. These are the solutions we are bringing to the industry.
We are currently filling the position of a Vendor Acquisition Manager to join the commercial team.
Job Role will Include:
- Act as a point of contact between the company and suppliers
- Identify potential suppliers based on project requirements
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and deadlines with vendors and suppliers
- Work closely with the legal department to ensure contract terms are favorable to the organization.
- Developing procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective.
- Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors.
- Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms.
- Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers to ensure ongoing feasibility.
- Building and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Performing risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements.
Requirements
You could be a fit if :
- You have a degree (Preferably Chemistry background or considerable related experience)
- You have at least 5 years related experience
- Have a working knowledge of MS Office.
- Your attention to detail is detailed!
- You are a person of high integrity.
