bunch is building the backbone of private markets, combining exceptional expertise, operational excellence, and frictionless technology. The platform enables funds and private investors to seamlessly and securely set up and manage their investment entities.
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager to join our Reporting & Accounting Platform team.
If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a strong background in fintech, accounting, or fund operations, and are passionate about building systems of record that power transparency, compliance, and investor trust — this role is for you.
How this role contributes to our vision
As the Senior Product Manager for the Reporting & Accounting Platform, you will own the products and workflows that ensure financial accuracy and investor confidence — from calculating fund performance and NAV to automating investor reports and audit-ready statements.
You’ll build the engines that turn complex fund data into clear, compliant, and investor-grade outputs.
This is a mission-critical position at the heart of how fund managers operate and communicate with their Investors. Your work will power the fund’s financial truth, support CFOs and Fund Controllers in closing their books, and enable seamless investor reporting — all while ensuring accuracy, scalability, and regulatory compliance.
You’ll collaborate closely with engineering, design, and operations to bring structure and precision to a complex domain and deliver products that set a new standard for private market reporting.
Key responsibilities
Define and drive the roadmap for reporting, accounting, and fund performance workflows
Build the Investor Reporting Engine powering quarterly and annual LP reports, capital account statements, and branded investor-ready disclosures
Partner with engineering to design the Fund Performance Engine – delivering accurate NAV, IRR, TVPI, DPI, and other key metrics across valuation methods
Lead development of the Accounting Platform, including ledgers, journals, trial balances, valuations, and integrations with external systems (e.g. DATEV, SaltEdge, Konfipay)
Translate complex accounting and fund finance requirements into clear product logic, automation, and audit trails
Collaborate with internal operations, CFOs, and fund controllers to optimise reporting workflows and data accuracy
Work closely with design and data teams to make fund performance and investor reporting intuitive, visual, and insightful
Ensure end-to-end data integrity, from transaction ingestion to reporting outputs
Define and track success metrics across adoption, data accuracy, and operational efficiency
-
Stay ahead of emerging best practices in fund accounting, NAV reporting, and investor communication standards
What you should bring with you
7+ years of product management experience, ideally in fintech, accounting, or financial data systems
Proven ability to manage mission-critical, data-heavy product areas with strict accuracy and compliance requirements
Experience with fund mechanics, reporting workflows, and performance metrics (NAV, IRR, TVPI, etc.) highly desirable.
Experience with accounting systems, ledgers, or financial reporting tools is highly advantageous
Ability to translate financial and accounting complexity into intuitive software products
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills — able to collaborate with both technical and non-technical audiences
Analytical and data-driven mindset, with an obsession for precision and traceability
Strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial drive and comfort with ambiguity
-
Experience in fast-growing or startup environments where systems and processes evolve quickly
Why you should join bunch
Become a key builder of the systems that define the financial backbone of private markets
Work alongside a talented, international, and mission-driven team in a culture of trust, inclusion, and ownership
Flexible hours, remote setup with quarterly trips to Berlin, and 28 days of vacation per year
Competitive compensation package
-
