To expand our core team, we're seeking a passionate Compliance Manage professional who wants to play a pivotal role in growing our business and revolutionising the private markets.

As a Fund Compliance Manager at bunch, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our compliance with regulatory filings and enhancing our position in the private market. Your mission will be to manage and automate the compliance reporting processes, including monthly and annual filings, while collaborating with our engineering team to streamline operations. You will be instrumental in gathering, executing, and automating compliance processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all our regulatory obligations.

  • Manage and improve our compliance reporting capabilities, ensuring high-quality, consistent, and compliant filings across various jurisdictions.

  • Spearhead the automation of compliance processes, reducing manual labor by integrating diverse fund structures and governance into our systems.

  • Lead strategic initiatives to explore and establish compliance standards and requirements in new markets, ensuring all filings meet the highest standards and positioning bunch as a reliable and innovative leader in the industry.

Top responsibilities

  • Oversee the Fund Compliance processes, including monthly reporting (e.g. Bundesbank filings: AWV, INVV), AIFMD reporting (e.g. BaFin filings), and FATCA/CRS filings for both regulated and unregulated funds and SPVs.

  • Proactively manage the onboarding of new fund clients and ensure all compliance information is complete and accurate.

  • Collaborate with the product team to automate compliance processes, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.

  • Maintain rigorous quality control over all compliance reports, ensuring they meet high standards expected by fund managers and investors.

  • Manage communications with regulatory bodies, auditors and external partners providing prompt and effective responses and updates.

  • Coordinate with other team members and departments to ensure a cohesive approach to compliance reporting.

  • Expand and enhance compliance reporting across our current jurisdictions in Germany, Netherlands, UK, while actively contributing to our efforts in entering new markets.

What you should bring with you

  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, with 2-3 years of experience in fund compliance or a related financial reporting role, preferably within the private equity or venture capital sectors.

  • Proven experience in managing compliance filings and processes.

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with an ability to handle complex datasets and reporting requirements.

  • Excellent communication skills, capable of managing relationships with internal teams, regulatory bodies, and external stakeholders effectively.

  • Experience with legal documents and compliance data.

  • Proficiency in financial software and tools, with a keen interest in leveraging technology to improve compliance processes.

  • Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

  • Fluent in English (C1) is a must; proficiency in German (B2) and knowledge of compliance in other EU countries is a plus.
