Your Role

As an Analytics Engineer, you will be the first Analytics hire – your main task is to build a scalable Data/Analytics platform to support the company’s increasing need for data-driven decision making. You leverage state-of-the-art tools like dbt to centralize business logic in a way that empowers end users to fully trust their data to answer their own questions.

Your Responsibilities

• Effective stakeholder communication: You effectively collaborate with senior management as well as your co-workers helping you during implementation (Engineers, Analysts) from understanding business needs to educating stakeholders to do their own analysis.

• Build a data platform with the Modern Data Stack: You conceptualize and implement a scalable data stack to ensure that end user data is of the highest quality. By doing so, you empower data-driven decision making at bunch.

• Support with ad-hoc data analysis: You deliver key insights to your stakeholders when the situation demands it. However, you always make sure to empower your colleagues to take it over and work more independently going forward.

Your Profile

To excel as an Analytics Engineer, you should combine data analysis skills with software development experience to solve challenging problems effectively.

• You have at least 1 year of professional experience in the Data team of a fast-growing startup where you demonstrated exceptional performance.

• You’re proficient in SQL. Python skills are a plus.

• You know how to leverage the Modern Data Stack (dbt + git, DWH, ELT, BI tools) to maximize your impact.

• You have a track record of working independently and pride yourself in employing a well-structured approach to working.

• You are fluent in English and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Technical Assessment: You will get a case to complete at your own time, designed to showcase your technical hard skills as well as your communication skills.
