Who Makes a Great Technical Founder?

How the Antler Residency Works

Our 10-week Residency is designed to help you find a co-founder, validate ideas, and secure VC funding. It takes place in Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane, with six weeks of full-time, in-person collaboration. If you’re based out of state, expect to spend 2-4 weeks in one of these cities meeting co-founders and testing ideas.

What you’ll do:

• Formation & Validation – Meet potential co-founders, refine technical solutions, and validate business models through hands-on workshops and expert-led sessions.
• Due Diligence – Work with experienced business coaches and advisors to turn your technical expertise into a scalable, investable product.
• Investment Committee (IC) – Pitch your startup to Antler’s global and local VC partners. If successful, you’ll receive pre-seed investment and join the Antler portfolio.
• Post-Investment Support – As a funded founder, get access to fundraising, hiring, scaling, and product support, plus Antler’s global network of investors, operators, and entrepreneurs.
