💡 The Role

The primary objective of this role is to spearhead Antler Iberia's operations from Madrid, particularly in scouting, program execution, and supporting our portfolio companies during subsequent fundraising rounds.

Responsibilities

• Strategically drive and plan the end-to-end program across Portugal and Spain, which runs 2 to 3 times annually, creating 15-30 standout companies from our Iberian cohorts each year.
• Assist our invested companies as they progress to later stages of funding.
• Devise regional strategies to support top-tier founders, determining.
• Serve as the market knowledge expert and consultant.
• Contribute to talent-related discussions and projects, offering guidance to the management team.
• Streamline the onboarding process for accepted applicants, ensuring a seamless experience.
• Champion the Antler brand with enthusiasm and dedication.

🎓 Key experience

• Venture Capital and/or Entrepreneurial background, either as a founder or a C-level executive in a rapidly growing tech company.
• Strong business acumen with experience reviewing numerous ideas, decks, and companies.
• Prior involvement in high-growth technology companies.
• A demonstrated interest in managing teams and coaching founders
• A robust network within the tech and startup communities of Lisbon/Madrid.

• A dynamic individual with a high energy level, an independent mindset, and an innate entrepreneurial spirit, complemented by a collaborative, team-driven approach.
• Exceptional communication skills in both oral and written forms, fluent in English, Portuguese, and/or Spanish.
• The ability to establish strong credibility, both internally and externally.
• An outstanding track record of academic, entrepreneurial, and professional success.
• Sharp commercial acumen and intellectual curiosity, with a history of leveraging personal networks, such as with family offices and individual investors.
• Meticulous attention to detail, consistently producing reliable and precise outputs.
• Proficiency in Google Suite.
