We are a Global VC Platform
We are fundamentally global, with our platform spanning 5 continents and our investment in 400+ portfolio companies. Our portfolio companies can launch in any Antler location, and leverage the global Antler network for their global network and expansion. We support the most brilliant and determined founders by investing at the earliest stage, helping startups achieve product-market fit, refine their MVP, accelerate growth as well as support them on global expansion in any category.
We put our founders first. Antler is led by ex-founders who have previously built their own startups from scratch and taken them from 0 to scale.
We have been on both sides of the table. As builders, we have founded companies in several industries, developed and scaled products used by thousands of customers, hired early core teams, and raised capital across different stages. As investors, our East Africa team has screened over 10,000 startup founder applications and thousands of startup pitches since we launched in 2019. Our team has helped build more than 50 startup ideas and funded 14 companies across various sectors and geographies. We have been partners to founders through the highs and lows of their founder journeys. Beyond identifying some levers of success, we have faced and navigated challenges, from major pivots to fundraising, that all founders may face.
We are an early-stage investor, launch, and growth partner
We invest up to $200k in pre-seed & early seed funding rounds (at the valuation of the given round).
We are looking for startups that:
- Are leveraging tech to tackle deep, relevant, and ambitious problem statements and
- Have a strong founding team with relevant past experience for the problem they are working on
